Publish photographs from Lightroom

Before you start

• Use Lightroom Classic and check the compatibility and availability notes on the Lightroom page.
• Have the correct business and gallery ready.

Step by step

1. 1

   Download and install the plugin

   Download the plugin from the Lightroom page and unzip it. Keep the .lrplugin folder in a permanent location. In Lightroom Classic, open File → Plug-in Manager → Add and select it.

   Create the publishing service

   Open Library → Publish Services → Wedplanned. Choose Sign in to WedPlanned and complete the business connection shown in your browser.

   Choose the destination

   Create a Gallery photos collection in the publishing service. Use Choose job / gallery / album and select the correct destination.

4. 4

   Publish your photographs

   Add the edited photographs and use Publish in Publish Services. This is different from Lightroom’s ordinary Export dialog.

   Review in WedStore

   Check that uploads have finished and that the images and albums are correct. New draft galleries still need to be reviewed and shared.

6. 6

   Use the photos in WedPrev

   Open the linked CRM job → WedPrev, refresh and select the images you want for previews or social exports.

What happens next

The photographs are in the linked client gallery and available for preview selection.

Helpful tips

• Use a separate publishing service for each business.
• Once a collection has published photographs, use a new collection to change its destination.
• A watermark applied during Lightroom export is part of the downloadable image.
