Prepare and share a wedding story
Prepare a story in Studio, publish it on your Studio website and share its link from Website & galleries. Or publish an article manually in your existing blog.
Before you start
- Check the linked wedding details and supplier names.
- Choose photographs suitable for the public story.
Step by step
Open the wedding
Open WedStudio → Wedding stories and find the existing wedding rather than creating a duplicate for a CRM job.
Review its content
Check the couple’s display names, venue, date and supplier details used by the story.
Prepare the story
Edit the introduction and story content and select the relevant images. Review any generated wording.
Preview the page
Check the cover, image order, text, credits and mobile layout.
Publish in Studio
Use the story’s publication controls. Then open WedStudio → Website → Content → Stories, select the published story and publish the website. Selection in a saved website draft alone does not add it to the live site.
Copy the live story link
Return to WedNav → Website & galleries and follow Blogs & stories under your saved setup. Select the published story and copy its link, or open Get a story link as HTML and choose Copy story link code. Open the link while signed out to check the published article.
Add it to your existing website
Use the copied URL in a button, menu or blog post on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or another website. If your editor accepts HTML, the Read story code adds the same ordinary link. Publish the page in that platform. Visitors follow the link to the Studio-hosted article; the article is not embedded or copied into the external blog.
Or publish directly in your own blog
Create a post in your existing website’s editor. Manually add your reviewed text and photographs and publish it there. You can also add a published gallery embed from Website & galleries: use Galleries: display inside your page for an existing-website setup, or Also use this gallery on another website for a WedPlanned-hosted setup. Select the published gallery and copy its code. WedPlanned does not create or synchronise the external blog post, so maintain any copied text separately.
What happens next
Your reviewed story is published at the destination you chose: a linked Studio-hosted article or a post you published in your own blog.
Helpful tips
- Creating a private client gallery does not automatically publish a public wedding story.
- A hosted story link requires the story to be selected in a published Studio website. A standalone gallery link needs only its gallery published.
- Gallery iframe code and Read story link code serve different purposes. Full Studio websites and story pages cannot be substituted into a gallery iframe.
Troubleshooting
The story is not public
Check its story-enabled and publication settings, then confirm it is selected in the published Studio website. Only stories available to that website can appear in its live story list.
My external blog did not update
A copied link opens the Studio-hosted story; it does not create an external blog post. Publish and maintain any manually copied article in your external website editor.
