Set up your business

Before you start

• Select the correct business if you have access to more than one.
• Have your business name, contact details, logo and service information ready.

Step by step

1. 1

   Complete the setup sections

   Open Business setup and follow Business → Website & galleries → Booking → Review. Website & galleries opens the same central setup page available from WedNav; there is no separate gallery or website form to complete twice.

   Save your website and gallery choices

   In Website & galleries, review the saved summary and choose Change setup. Select your main website route and gallery source, add any external gallery link, and enter your existing website platform and address if applicable. Choose Save setup. The instructions below follow these saved choices.

   Follow your saved setup

   Prepare and publish content in Studio, then return to Website & galleries. A WedPlanned or custom-domain setup shows your hosted website instructions. An existing-website setup shows Galleries: display inside your page and Blogs & stories. If your main website is hosted by WedPlanned, Also use this gallery on another website opens optional embed instructions. Live public galleries and websites need Studio publishing access.

   Connect a custom domain when needed

   For a full Studio website on your own domain, use the Cloudflare wizard in Website & galleries when available. Choose an unused address, review the proposed record, confirm and check HTTPS. If you embed a gallery in your existing website, leave that website’s domain connection in place; no DNS change is needed.

   Share stories or keep your existing blog

   For a Studio-hosted story, publish it in Wedding stories, select it in your Studio website’s Stories section and publish the website. In Website & galleries, follow Blogs & stories under your saved setup. Select the published story and copy its link, or open Get a story link as HTML and choose Copy story link code. To keep the article within your own blog, create and publish a post in that platform instead; reviewed text and photographs are copied manually, not synchronised by WedPlanned.

   Set up online booking

   Choose Set up online booking or Decide later. The Booking step links to sessions, available times, client details, payments and publication. These settings open in a new tab; save there and return to see the refreshed readiness status. Follow the tailored instructions for adding the booking link to your chosen website.

   Review your business profile

   Open Business profile and check the description, contact details and images that represent your business.

   Set your service areas

   Choose the locations you work in. Review them alongside the services you offer.

   Check connections

   Open Connections and complete any setup needed for the features you intend to use. A visible feature is not proof that its external connection is ready.

    Review as a client

    Use the available profile or website preview and check names, spelling and contact information before sharing it.

What happens next

Your choices are saved and you can see which connections are live or still need attention. Finishing the wizard does not publish a website, activate booking or connect a domain automatically.

Helpful tips

• Business settings and individual gallery branding serve different purposes. A gallery can have its own branding.
• Website & galleries is the only place to change and save your website route and gallery source. Saving setup does not publish Studio drafts or install an embed on another website for you.
• You can keep your existing website and use a standalone gallery link, a Studio website and gallery embeds together. Changing a setup preference does not switch off an existing publication.
